new novel, Injured Sparrow. Casey Jo has an extensive work history as a social worker and counselor in various social welfare programs. Her
rich experience in working with people in crisis provides a in-depth backdrop for her novels. Currently, she lives in Northern California with

Recently, Elizabeth had been emancipated from the foster care system and needed to begin her new life. But how could she move forward until she found out what happened to her little sister, Tabitha. She hadn't seen Tabitha for over twelve years since her Aunt took them both to the courthouse to rescind the guardianship of Elizabeth. She had been six years old at the time, with Tabitha being two years her junior. Elizabeth watched the television segment about the notorious serial killer in Calaveras County, California. This insidious predator targeted and killed young girls throughout the 1990's. Elizabeth couldn't get it out of her mind that Tabitha had not had been seen since 1992, when she was seven years old. Tabitha simply disappeared while staying in Calaveras County under the care of their crazy aunt, Evelyn. Two years ago, Evelyn had been found homeless, living on the streets, and couldn't recount what had happened to Tabitha. Did Evelyn harm Tabitha, or had Tabitha been the fifth victim of the serial killer, who terrorized the region?
Ultimately, Elizabeth knew she had to unearth the truth, whatever it may be! Her first stop, Calaveras County to talk to the police and Child Protective Services. To get some Answers!
